Oh Happy Day Child Care

Oh Happy Day is owned and operated by Angie Carnes. Located in a great cul-de-sac with a huge backyard for outdoor play, and a neighborhood park within walking distance.  The child care area is located in my walkout basement with lots of large windows and sunshine. The floor plan provides plenty of room for circle time activities, hands on centers, dramatic play areas, and a large table for creative activities and socializing during lunch. Oh Happy Day has an open door policy for parents...just ring the bell.

 

My philosophy is that each and every child deserves an environment that is loving, nurturing, and educational.  My goal is to offer a safe place to learn and grow by helping children to further develop their sense of self-value, confidence, imagination, the love of learning, and a feeling of being accepted for who they are through PLAY!  I believe that children are more successful when they can play and learn in a positive environment where respect, kindness, compassion, and having fun are the usual way.  I also believe that the interaction between the provider and the parents is key.  When the provider and parents work together, children thrive!  I strongly believe in positive reinforcement and encouraging creativity and individuality. Each and every child is special and unique!
